My Bio
I am not an artist by any means, and I am not a talented writer. I have decided to try writing for fun just to see where it goes, at the very least this might help to get rid of some of the massive amounts of boredom. I can be a very negative person, and I tend to aim it all towards myself. Writing might be a good distraction from some of that. Most of the stories I write will probably take place in a 17th-19th century European kind of setting, with a few fantasy/magical elements thrown in. deviantART is generally used by people with artistic abilities as well as literature, I know. I can't draw at all, but I'll try my hand at writing and this is the place I chose to post some of it for feedback. So you'll get no drawings from me, only the writings of a talentless writer :)

I tried writing stories once a few years ago, but I didn't like my writings and gave up. I've decided to try again, maybe out of boredom, maybe to take my mind of things. Either way I wrote this first short story to "test the waters" so to speak. I wanted to see what I could do if I really put effort into writing, get a few short stories in as practice to see what I can do. Most of the short stories I write in the near future are mostly for me to build up a background, setting, and tone for a much longer story I hope to write. Maybe this will be something that I just write a few times and give up again, or maybe this will turn into a long-ter
